Dynamic Fencing and Decks Policies

Welcome to Dynamic Fencing and Decks! We are committed to providing high-quality fencing and decking services to our valued customers. To ensure a clear understanding of our practices, please review our policies below:

1. General Policies
a. Service Area
We serve customers within Greater Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. If you are outside this area, please contact us to discuss potential arrangements.
b. Business Hours
Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend and holiday appointments are available upon request and may incur additional charges.

2. Consultation and Estimates
a. Free Consultation
We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your project needs and provide a preliminary estimate.
b. Detailed Estimates
After the initial consultation, we will provide a detailed written estimate outlining the scope of work, materials, labor, and any additional costs. This estimate is valid for 30 days.

3. Contracts and Payments
a. Contract Agreement
A signed contract is required before any work begins. The contract will include the project scope, payment terms, and other relevant details.
b. Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% is required upon signing the contract.
Progress payments will be scheduled based on project milestones.
Final payment is due upon project completion and customer satisfaction.
c. Payment Methods
We accept payments via cash, check, e-transfer, and major credit cards

4. Payment Terms
a. Payment in full is due within 7 days of project completion, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The completion date will be clearly communicated at the time of project finalization.

b. Grace Period: A 7-day grace period is provided after the payment due date. No late fees will be applied during this time.

c. Late Fee: If payment is not received by the end of the 7-day grace period, a 5% late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance. This fee is calculated based on the total overdue amount.

d. Recurring Late Fees: If the balance remains unpaid, an additional 5% late fee will be applied every 30 days until the account is settled in full.

e. Collections and Legal Action: Accounts that remain unpaid for 90 days or more may be subject to additional collection actions, including but not limited to legal proceedings. Any costs associated with collections will be the responsibility of the client.

f. Waivers and Exceptions: Late fees may be waived at our discretion in special circumstances. Any waiver must be agreed upon in writing before the payment due date.


5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
a. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made more than 7 days but less than 30 days before the scheduled start date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date will forfeit the entire deposit.
b. Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred dates.

6. Warranty and Repairs
a. Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. All installations come with a 10-year warranty on workmanship.
b. Aluminum Railing, Fencing, Privacy Screens, and Roofing
We take care during installation, but scratches can happen. If a scratch can be seen from 2 meters away, a paint pen will be used to touch up the marks. If the scratch cannot be seen from 2 meters away, it is not considered significant.
c. Vinyl Decking
The aesthetic warranty for vinyl decking is 5 years, and the waterproof warranty is 15 years.
d. Repairs and Maintenance
For warranty-covered repairs, please contact us immediately. For non-warranty repairs or maintenance, we offer competitive rates and priority scheduling.

7. Liability and Insurance
a. Liability
Dynamic Fencing and Decks is fully insured for liability and workers’ compensation. We take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe working environment.
b. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for securing any necessary permits and providing clear access to the work site. Please inform us of any underground utilities or other potential hazards.

8. Privacy Policy
a. Customer Information
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected during the consultation or service process will be used solely for the purpose of completing your project and will not be shared with third parties.
